I also expect you to be financially responsible for the cost for the treatment, either if you are a self-paid patient or if you are an insured patient. I accept cash, checks, and electronic transfer of funds (e.g.: Quick Zelle). Neither debit nor credit cards can be used at my office.

In case you are accessing my services through your medical insurance plan, then you need to contact them to check and ensure your eligibility for receiving my services under your plan. Sometimes, I could be credentialed with your insurance company, and I could be listed in the panel of some plans but not in the panel of all plans. Also, it is possible that your plan has a deductible (an amount of money that patient/member needs to spend before the company starts to pay). Sometimes, there is a copay-fee, and it also may vary from plan to plan. In some cases, a pre-authorization or pre-certification is needed before starting the treatment. Additionally, some plans require a referral from your PCP (your Primary Care Doctor).

Our therapeutic relationship has the advantage for you that you do not need to deal with any person other than me. There is no front-desk, no receptionist, and no secretary. But, on the same token, you need to be responsible for clarifying any insurance-related matter by contacting your plan ahead of time, and at any time that may be needed. The same happens with any documentation you may request from me. If it belongs to your case, then, unfortunately, we will have to use time of your session for taking care of it.
